FROM PITCH TO EXECUTION
Recent Work
Hi, I’m Amie Liebowitz, an award-winning multimedia broadcast journalist in London, UK.
I create stories that excite you, change your perspective and occasionally make you laugh. I work across online and digital platforms, radio, podcasting and TV from pitch to execution.
As well as news and current affairs, I enjoy stories in the intersection of society and politics. As a minority myself, peering into people’s lives and asking the big questions brings me joy.
During my BA & MA at the University of Sydney, I studied social sciences, specialising in traditional & non-traditional security. Thus, my analysis and the way I look at news is nuanced: I combine in-depth research and use of contacts to ensure quality and insight from multiple perspectives.
Did you know? In my spare time, I volunteer for National Prison Radio through BBC Outreach and produce therapeutic radio programming in England and Wales.
My work in interfaith and intercultural spaces has flown me across Europe, the MENA region, and the United States. I’ve had the opportunity to lead groups through concentration camps such as Sachsenhausen in Germany and massacre sites such as Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These leadership roles have prepared me to be able to handle any situation in the field and create unique content that is both personal and informative.
